Howell, MIIt was a cold and windy day at Hutchings Field, however, two offensives were on fire as the Patriots outlasted the Coolers 49-42.

Teddy had two receptions for the Patriots
Big plays were the theme of the day as both teams kept racking up touchdowns in front of an appreciative crowd. The Patriots (1-1) scored a season high seven touchdowns while recording their first win of the season.

The Coolers were unstoppable at times on offense, tallied six touchdowns, and tied the game at 42-42 with only one minute remaining on the clock after Chad hauled in his third touchdown of the day.

Cole and the Patriots were not be be outdone. Cole caught his season high seventh reception and third touchdown to put the Patriots up for good, 49-42, with only ten seconds left in the game.

The Coolers "Hail Mary" attempt fell to the ground on their last play and exhausted players from both teams shared handshakes at midfield.

"Probably the most entertaining game of the season," said all-time quarterback Mr. Horne. "These kids should be tired. They made big play after big play. I was tired just watching them."

Jordan and the Coolers came up just short Friday
Cole and Colin lead the Patriots with three touchdowns a piece. Chad lead the way for the Coolers catching 5 passes for three TDs, while Jordan added five receptions and two TDs.

"All the fans that came out today saw some great playmakers making plays," stated Horne. "Sure there was a few missed assignments on defense, but it's hard to stop great athletes in the open field.
