Howell, MI - The Steelers (3-0) continued their march towards a perfect season as they defeated the Lucky Ducks (0-1-1) 21-7 Friday. Just like their NFL namesake, the 4th Grade Football version of the Steelers used their intense defense to stifle their opponent. Three different Steelers players picked off a pass, as they wrecked havoc on the Lucky Duck offense.

"I saw a lot of different looks in the Steelers secondary today," said all-time quarterback Mr. Horne. "Everything from a cover two zone, to one-on-one press coverage. They did a good job of disguising their looks and it never allowed the Luck Ducks offense to get in any kind of rhythm."

However, it wasn't all bad news for the Lucky Ducks. Aaron S hauled in his first touchdown reception of the season. Aaron's 65 yard catch cut the Steelers lead to 21-7, but the Lucky Ducks went four and out on their next possession, and the game was over two plays later.

Calvin C and Bryson S led the Steelers on offense once again. The duo combined for five receptions and two of the three Steelers touchdowns.

The win clinched a playoff berth for the Steelers. The loss just made it that much tougher for the Lucky Ducks to make the post season, however, the Luck Ducks still control their own destiny if they can win out.
